Menu with discovery of the wines from the Cote de Beaune (minimum of 4 persons) – 40 to 50 euros per person (4 to 5 wines).

-Apéritif : gougères (cheese flavoured, choux pastry bites) and seasonal cocktail snacks :

Crémant de Bourgogne (Burgundy sparkling wine) produced from the Burgundy varieties of grape (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Aligoté) using traditional methods.

-Starter : Grilled scallops with avocado cream :

White wine (Chardonnay) : Saint Romain “Sous le Château” 2009 delicate floral aromas and rich in the mouth

-Main Course : Strips of duck fillet with blackcurrant and purée perfumed with vanilla :

Pernand Vergelesses “Les Belles Filles" 2006 (Pinot Noir).  Wine from an exceptionally sunfilled year produced from mature vines.  Delightful hints of red fruit with subtlety and power.

-Platter of regional cheeses : (Epoisses, Citeaux, Brillat Savarin, goat’s cheese)

Savigny-les-Beaune “Clos du Roy 2007 ”(Pinot Noir).  A wine full of character and subtlety from a mature vine with a limited yield.

-The Gourmandises de “Babeth” :

Crème brulée, warm chocolate mousse, crumbles
